Had a great experience with Darren and his team. Every stage of the loft conversion was clearly laid out in advance with well-defined stages of progress and payment throughout the project. Work started on time as promised and they were very accommodating to changes we suggested as the building works progressed. Our conversion involved lowering the existing ceiling so was quite disruptive but everything was discussed with us in advance and we were fully aware of what to expect. We are very pleased with the extra room we now have and the quality of the work. We would happily use them again.
We had a loft conversion carried out by Goldhawk Lofts in January 2014. The process was about 6 weeks from start to finish. We were very impressed with the finish, and also found the price was good considering the work involved. Darren and team were extremely personable, considerate and decent people to have around. They were only in the house for the last couple of weeks and we found that because Darren has young children himself, he went the extra mile to ensure the house was safe and hazard free even when they were working which a lot of builders and tradesman wouldn’t even think of. They covered our existing stairs and hallway with some excellent stickyback plastic to protect our carpet and kept us up to date with deliveries so we can warn the neighbours/make plans etc. The whole build was hassle and stress free and that was down to Darren’s planning and consideration. During the process Darren would make suggestions and recommendations and we are so pleased with the outcome. We would recommend Goldhawk Lofts to anybody locally who is thinking of converting their loft. Do it!
The service that we received from Darren and his team at Goldhawk Lofts was excellent. We were taken and guided through the process from start to finish including Permitted Development and Building Regulation applications. Darren took care of it all. We were particularly happy to know that we would have a constant presence of a team that we knew and that we didn’t have strangers in and out of the house for the duration. When a new contractor was bought in, we were introduced by Darren himself and everyone we came across was helpful and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend Goldhawk Lofts. Darren (and Connor) are hardworking, honest and we enjoyed having them around during the exciting (and daunting) time. Our minds were set at rest throughout the project knowing that we had such a good team working on it and seeing Darren’s commitment to the build.
We are over the moon with our loft conversion which Darren and his team (Goldhawk Lofts) completed in October 2012. The work was completed to a very high standard and in the timeframe. It has since been commented on by several other professionals who have seen it, some saying it is the best loft conversion they have ever seen in terms of finishing and workmanship.
